  • Venue

    The conference will be held at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw, Poland. The venue is located in the city center, easily accessible by public transportation and close to many hotels and restaurants. The conference will take place in the main lecture hall, which can accommodate up to 100 attendees. The venue also has several smaller rooms for workshops and poster sessions.

    In connection with the implementation of the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, 27th April 2016, on the protection of persons regarding the processing of personal data, and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC General Data Protection Regulation “GDPR”), The Organizing Committee of the IEEE Central and Eastern Europe Ultrasonics Symposium 2026 informs that it exercises special diligence in the field of personal data protection, and respect for the rights of data subjects.

    Please be advised that:

    The administrator of your personal data is us4us Ltd., with its registered office in Warsaw at 111A Puławska Street, apt. U2, hereinafter referred to as the Administrator. The administrator processes your personal data.

    Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of:

  • organizing and conducting the conference, including participant registration, preparation of attendance lists, and identification materials (e.g. badges);
  • communicating with participants regarding conference-related matters;
  • preparing and publishing conference materials, in particular the book of abstracts containing basic participant information (name, surname, affiliation);
  • documenting the course of the conference (e.g. participant lists, archiving);
  • promoting the conference, including publishing photo and video materials on websites and social media (e.g. LinkedIn);
  • informing participants about future editions of the conference or similar events (subject to consent where required).
  • Your personal data may be shared with:

  • institutions co-organizing the conference, namely:
    - Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw;
    - Faculty of Medicine, University of Warsaw;
    - Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences;
  • entities authorized under applicable law.
  • The basis for the processing of your personal data:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – processing necessary for the performance of a contract, i.e. participation in the conference;
  • Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – your consent, in particular for publication of conference participants’ images and receiving information about future editions of the conference or similar events (where applicable);
  • Data subjects have the right to:

  • request from the Administrator to access their personal data, rectify, delete, or limit the processing of personal data,
  • object to such processing,
  • data portability,
  • lodging a complaint to the supervisory body,
  • withdraw consent to the processing of personal data. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  • Usage of photographic and video material taken at the event

    The Participant understands that during the Conference the Organizer will create photo, video, or audio recordings and the material can be used in various publications, press releases, or promotional activities. These materials can be shared on a website or used on social networks (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn). Photographic and video materials containing identifiable images of participants will be published only on the basis of the participant’s consent.

    Should you not agree to be part of the photographic and video material or would like to have your pictures deleted, please inform us by contacting the Organizer via email to office@us4us.eu

    The Organizers will not publish the full scientific content of the conference presentations. However, the abstracts of the talks will be made publicly available online in the form of an electronic abstract book (PDF). Participants acknowledge that the abstract book will be openly accessible and may be freely viewed and downloaded.

    The organizers prohibit unauthorized recordings or photographs by participants. However, the organizers do not take legal responsibility for such actions.
